How to find site coordinates for a wind classification
The easiest way to provide coordinates for QuickWind is to use the map inside the order form. Search the address, use + / - to zoom, then drag the map until the red centre pin is on the exact project location.
Direct answer
For QuickWind, you usually do not need to manually type latitude and longitude. The form records the selected site address and pinned location.
Using the QuickWind map
Start typing the site address and select the closest matching result. The map will move to that location. Use the + and - map controls to zoom, then drag the map so the red pin is centred on the project site.
Using Google Maps manually
If you want to check the location separately, open Google Maps in a browser. On desktop, right click the project location and copy the coordinates. On a phone, press and hold the location to drop a pin, then copy the location details or share link.
New, rural or hard-to-locate sites
If the project site is not found cleanly by address search, select the closest result and move the map pin to the actual site. Use the optional message box or uploaded files for any extra location notes.
What the certificate uses
The certificate is prepared for the nominated site. Clear address and pin information helps avoid delays caused by unclear or conflicting location details.
